Qatar Exchange index drops 22.36 points (0.26%) this week when the bourse closed Thursday afternoon at 8,506.22 points.
The trading value this week decreased by 25.11% to reach QR 1,039,674,105.87 compared to QR 1,388,312,909.50. Trading volume decreased by 34.88% to reach 20,069,296 shares as against 30,820,267 shares, while the number of transactions fell by 32.08%, to reach 11,889 transactions as compared to 17,504 transactions.
The Market capitalization rose by 0.05% to reach QR 466,379,833,124.94 as compared to QR 466,135,206,538.82 at the end of previous week.
Banks and Financial Services sector led traded value this week with 38.25% of the total trading value. Industries sector accounted for 24.03% and The Consumer Goods and Services sector accounted for 9.58%.
Banks and Financial Services sector led traded volume this week with 38.79% of the total trading volume. Real Estate sector accounted for 21.46%. The Industrials sector accounted for 20.88% and Transportation sector accounted for 7.24%.
Banks and Financial Services sector led traded number of transactions this week with 35.98% of the total number of transactions. Industries sector accounted for 23.59%. The Real Estate sector accounting for 14.64% and Consumer Goods and Services sector accounted for 11.09%.
