The Qatar Exchange down on Wednesday 80.81 points or 0.94% to 8,491.56 points from the previous closing of 8,572.37 points. The volume of shares traded fell to 5,444,388 from 8,084,358 Tuesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR233,141,911.54 from QR275,190,487.31 Tuesday. Among the top losers were Commercial Bank of Qatar whose share dropped 9.93% to QR68.00, Electricity and Water lost 1.34% to QR132.90, Doha Insurance fell 1.58% to QR28.05 and Vodafone Qatar down 1.30% to QR8.37. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector up 0.14 points while the Insurance sector added 1.36 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 0.78 points and the Services sector gained 0.03 points.
