The volume of shares traded up to 8,084,358 from 5,988,882 Monday, and the value of shares increased to QR275,190,487.31 from QR308,459,132.81 Monday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 0.29% to QR169.00, Qatar Islamic Bank lost 0.97% to QR71.50, Qatar Insurance fell 0.94% to QR52.50 and Electricity and Water down 6.13% to QR134.70. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 0.85 points while the Insurance sector added 0.99 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 0.72 points and the Services sector fell 0.85 points.
