Nikkei opened 2.02 percent lower Friday.At 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was down 262. 46 points from Thursday at 12,752.12, after sliding to as low as 12,712.19. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 27.25 points, or 2.50 percent, at 1, 064.56.
