The traded volume hit 296 million shares, with 5,119 deals at a total value of KD 23.7 million. Wednesday\'s top active shares were (MAYADEEN), (ADNC), (MANAZEL), (GFH), and (INVESTROS). The top gainers were (EDU), (MANAZEL), (ADNC), (MASSALEH), and (ATC). As for sector performance, TECHNOLOGY IXP Sector was the top gainer, gaining 28.8 points and 14 points in the price and weighted indices respectively. OIL and GAS IXW sector was meanwhile the top loser, losing 13.5 and 4.67 points respectively.
