The price of gold in domestic transactions dropped to KD 394.6 per ounce Monday, compared to Sunday\'s figure of KD 402. 71, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry reported. According to official figures, Gold of 24, 21 and 18 karats recorded KD 12. 9, KD 11.4, and KD 9.08, respectively. The selling price of one kilo of gold reached KD 12,686. Gold prices in world markets went severely down during the last weekend in New York, following US jobs report which reflected an improvement in the economy. The US jobs report showed an addition of 175,000 opportunities, a number that exceeds expectations.
