The gold price in Hong Kong moved up 56 HK dollars to close at 14,966 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.The price is equivalent to 1,618.70 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 6.06 U.S. dollars at the latest exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.76 HK dollars.
