The Qatar Exchange in the green area on Wednesday adding 44.43 points (0.45%) advance to 9,847.62 points from 9,803.19 on Tuesday. The volume of the shares traded increase to 5,795,230 from 5,450,832 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR555,891,002.37 from QR267,830,812.11 Tuesday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 1.09% to QR176.50, Masraf Al Rayan gained 2.04 % to QR30.00, Doha Bank gained 0.94% to QR53.50 and Qatar Fuel up by 0.73% to QR275.00. The Banking and Financial sector index increased 0.93 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index gained 0.46 points and Industrial sector up 0.37 points.
