Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd. (KAI), South Korea's sole aircraft manufacturer and total system integrator, said Monday that its partner companies have successfully developed key aircraft-related softwares that can reduce the country's dependence on foreign programs.
The company located in Sacheon, a city 437 kilometers southeast of Seoul, said that the six companies that are members of the Aerospace IT Innovation Center (AITIC) have developed softwares such as navigation for use in civilian helicopters, power modules for anti-submarine warfare aircraft and imbedded training software for drones.
