Palestinian exports increased in July 2018 by 12.1% compared to June the same year. It also increased by 2.6% compared to July 2017 and reached $91.1 million, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

Exports to Israel increased in July 2018 by 12.2% compared to June 2018 and represented 90.7% of total exports in July.

At the same time, exports to other countries increased by 10.4% during the same period compared to June 2018.

Imports increased in July by 10.7% compared to June. It also increased by 6.9% compared to July 2017 and reached $487.9 million.

Imports from Israel slightly increased by 0.9% in July compared to June and represented 54.5% of total imports in July.

At the same time, imports from other countries increased by 25.3% compared to June.

The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed an increase in trade deficit by 10.4% in July, 2018 compared to June, 2018. It also increased by 7.9% compared to July 2017 and reached $396.8 million.
