Officials in Texas City, Texas, Wednesday asked residents to shelter in place after an apparent leak of hydrochloric acid at the city\'s docks.
Texas City Emergency Manager Bruce Clawson said no injuries have been reported, but the leak from a tank in the port area has created a cloud of gas moving over the city, KTRK-TV, Houston, reported. Residents were asked to stay indoors with all windows and doors closed and the air conditioning turned off.
Winds were blowing from the southeast at 15 miles per hour, AccuWeather said.
