Seoul - FANA
South Korea and Denmark have signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation further in the field of green growth, Seoul’s Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said.
Under the bilateral agreement on the Green Growth Alliance, the two sides will hold annual meetings alternately in the two countries and strengthen political consultation on ways to pursue environment-friendly growth, the PMO said in a statement carried by Yonhap.
The agreement came after top leaders of the two countries agreed in May 2011 to launch the Korean-Danish Green Growth Alliance, the first of its kind, in recognition of climate change as one of the greatest global challenges, according to the PMO.
