An earthquake of six magnitude hit New Britain Region of Papua New Guinea on Wednesday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported. The tremor\'s epicenter was 29 km West of Kimbe, New Britain with a 154 km estimated depth. Damages were not immediately clear on areas surrounding the epicenter and no injuries or tsunami warnings were issued.
