David Warner hit a breezy 45 off 46 balls to power Australia into a good position in their pursuit of 184 to win the World Cup final against New Zealand at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.
The aggressive opener's attempted pull shot off Matt Henry went straight to Grant Elliott at deep square leg to end a 61-run stand with Steve Smith.
Warner's innings was in contrast to New Zealand skipper and opener Brendon McCullum's three-ball duck earlier in the day.
