Two goals from Uruguayan midfielder Diego Ferreira helped Argentinian side Tigre to record a valuable 2-1 away win over compatriots Argentinos Juniors in the first leg of their Copa Sudamericana second-round tie. Ferreira opened the scoring with a long-range shot from outside the box five minutes after half-time. Ten minutes later, Leonel Nunez equalised with a powerful right-foot shot, but in stoppage time Ferreira\'s precise header over goalkeeper Luis Ojeda gave his team an advantage to take into the return. He said afterwards: \"It was a dream debut for me, no doubt. It was very important for me because the goals give me confidence, but most important is that the team won and are close to advancing.\" Ojeda said: \"It was a strange match. I\'m sure we didn\'t deserve to lose, but this is football. Anyway, this isn\'t over yet.\" The return takes place in Victoria city on 30 August. Meanwhile in Sucre, Uruguayan side Liverpool wrapped up a 5-1 aggregate win over Bolivian side Universitario with a 2-1 success. After winning 3-0 in Montevideo, Julio Antunez\'s side won with goals from William Ferreira and Flavio Scarione, after Marcelo Escalante gave Universitario the lead from the penalty spot. Liverpool will face Colombian outfit Envigado in the next stage. Colombia\'s Deportes Tolima set up a clash against Chilean giants Universidad de Chile with a goalless draw at Deportivo Lara of Venezuela, progressing as a result of their 3-1 first-leg win.
