The National Hockey League and players have reached a tentative deal to end their lockout and salvage the season, US media reports said Sunday. NHL.com reported that a marathon 16-hour negotiating session that started on Saturday and spilled over into Sunday produced a \"framework\" for a new collective bargaining agreement to replace the one that expired on September 15, triggering the lockout that has so far cost the NHL more than half its 2012-2013 campaign.
