World number two Roger Federer easily defeated ninth seed Tomas Berdych 6-4, 6-0 to book his spot in the semi-finals of the Indian Wells hardcourt tournament on Friday.
Federer, who is trying to win an unprecedented fifth Indian Wells crown, will face either Milos Raonic or Rafael Nadal in the semis.
