South Korea on Monday replaced three injured players on the national football team ahead of a World Cup qualification match.
The Korea Football Association (KFA) said Hwang Ji-soo, playing for Pohang Steelers in the domestic K League Classic, will replace Kim Do-heon in midfield. Kim, playing for another K League Classic side, Suwon Samsung Bluewings, tore a knee ligament during a league game against Pohang Sunday and has been ruled out for six months.
