Emirati Ali Reyad Saleh Al Kaabi won the CEI 120km ** National Day Cup endurance ride at the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi on Saturday. The ride was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance and Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. The competitors were required to cover the distance in five stages of 33kms, 27 kms, 24 kms, 20 kms and 16 kms. As many as 147 riders hada mass start in the morning. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and  Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum also took part in the ride. Kaabi, riding nine-year-old gelding Tacka from Seeh Al Salaam clocked a winning time of 4 hours 19 minutes 11 seconds with an average speed 27.780 of kmph His compatriot Ali Khalfan Al Jahouri, riding Lourizon Frost from Al Wathba Stables finished second with a time of 4:20:20. The third place went to Narpat Singh Prabhu Singh Rathore from India who partnered Idaho Wicktor from Dubai Enduracne Stables having finished with a time of 4:20:35. Omani Khamis Abdullah Al Baloushi on Jabbar from Dubai Endurance Stables took the next place clocking 4:22.17 and the fifth place went to Khalid Ali Al Shafar who was riding  Orman De Cardonne from  Al Reeh Endurance Stables) 4:34:43.
