Japan's Natsumi Hoshi won the women's 200m butterfly gold medal at the world championships on Thursday.
Hoshi's winning time was two minutes, 05.56 seconds with Cammile Adams of the United States taking silver at 0.84 back while 17-year-old Chinese Zhang Yufei swam a new world junior record of 2:06.51 to take bronze.
