Vitesse have confirmed the signing of Theo Janssen from Ajax on a three-year deal. The 31-year-old, who started his career with the Vitas, returns to the GelreDome after spells with Twente and latterly Ajax. A defensive midfielder with five caps for the Netherlands, Janssen has also agreed to extend his career with the club beyond his playing days, with a coaching role tied in to his contract.
