Reigning world slalom champion Jean-Baptiste Grange will make his return to competition at Val D\'Isere on December 9, the French ski federation announced Friday. Grange is slowly making his comeback after undergoing an operation on his right knee at the end of March, two years after first having surgery. The Frenchman has opted out of racing in the US resort of Beaver Creek the week before Val D\'Isere, saying he was \"not sufficiently ready, especially in the giant slalom\".
