Ethiopian Mare Dibaba clocked 2 hours, 27 minutes and 35 seconds to win the women's marathon at the world athletics championships here on Sunday.

Kenyan Helah Kiprop claimed silver in 2:27.36 and Eunice Jepkirui Kirwa from Bahrain took bronze in 2:27.39.
