Canada's Derek Drouin cleared 2.34 meters in a three-man jump-off to win the men's high jump gold medal at the world athletics championships here on Sunday.

China's Zhang Guowei and Ukraine's Bohdan Bongarenko shared the second place on 2.33 meters.
