The bodies of two more victimsof the deadly March 22 Washington state mudslide have been recovered, bringingthe number of dead to 41, officials said Monday.The coroner’s office announced the discovery of two more bodies Monday morningand said neither had yet been identified. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office
reported last week that four people remain missing.A steep hillside gave way on March 22, spilling across the North Fork of theStillaguamish River, burying the riverfront community in mud, trees, and debris.President Obama is scheduled to visit the site Tuesday.
