Taliban militants

At least five civilians were killed after a group of Taliban militants opened fire on a civilian car in eastern Nangarhar province, Khama press reported Friday.
Provincial police spokesman, Hazrat Hussain Mashriqwal said that the militants opened fire at a civilian vehicle which was travelling through Khogyani district.
Mashriqwal said that five civilians were killed and two others were injured following the attack.
Nangarhar is among the relatively volatile provinces in eastern Afghanistan where anti-government armed militants are actively operating in a number of its remote districts.
