Suspected militants overran a Pakistani military post in the north-western tribal region near the Afghan border, killing four soldiers and capturing nine, officials said on Sunday.
Dozens of militants armed with hand-grenades and rockets attacked the post overnight in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan tribal district, dpa quoted military and intelligence officials as saying.
A military statement said three soldiers including an officer and seven militants were killed in the overnight clashes.
