Six people were killed and another injured in a road accident in Tongren city in southwest China's Guizhog Province, local authorities announced on Thursday. The accident happened around 10:18 p.m. Wednesday, when a cement tanker went out of control and rear-ended a minibus on Binjiang street in Bijiang District. The two vehicles fell into the river, killing the tanker driver, one person in the minibus and four passersby. Another person in the minibus was injured and remains hospitalized. The cause of the accident is under police investigation.
