New York - MENA
A small plane has crashed on a Long Island roadway, halting service on one branch of the nation's busiest commuter railways, CBS news reported Sunday.
At least one person has been killed in the crash.
A second, reported to be 54 years old, was injured in an unknown condition. Identifying information of the victim and the survivor have not yet been released.
Police say the plane came down unexpectedly just before 8 a.m.
Photos from the scene show the wreckage on the rails just off the road and at a railway crossing.
