President Abdel Fattah El Sisi

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday received a phone call from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron who voiced keenness on promoting the unique bilateral ties at all levels and enhancing partnership between the two nations.
During the phone conversation, Macron stressed the importance of continuing coordination between the two countries pertaining to a number of regional and international files of common interest.
For his part, Sisi hailed the depth of the Egyptian-French relations, noting that the existing crises in the Middle East entail enhancing international efforts to reach political settlement to restore stability in the region, resume construction and achieve development.
Both sides also discussed the latest developments of some regional issues topped by the situation in Libya. They agreed on pushing forward the endeavors to reach a political solution to the Libyan crisis so as to restore stability in the Arab country, keep the unity of its territories and enhance efforts of fighting terrorism in the region.
The two presidents asserted that they share identical points of view concerning the priorities of this phase.
