A Russian man has handed over 1,200 hand grenades to police that he apparently discovered in a forest near the southern Urals city of Orenburg, officials said. The man will receive a reward of $36,500 for turning over the F1 grenades, RIA Novosti reported. "In line with a resolution of the Orenburg Region's government, a monetary reward is envisioned for voluntary surrender of illegally kept armament supplies," an Interior Ministry official said Friday.
