The Russian Ministry of Emergency said Tuesday that it evacuated more than 60 citizens of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) from Yemen.
The ministry said in a statement that an airplane belonging to it has taken off from Sanaa International Airport carrying 62 citizens from Russia and CIS.
The ministry pointed out that the airplane was carrying more than 20 tons of humanitarian aid for Yemeni people including tents and food supplies.
