At least 10 people were killed after two buses collided head-on Friday in Bangladesh's western district of Rajbari, police said.
Eight people died at the scene when the inter-district buses crashed before dawn at Basantapur on the Dhaka-Khulna highway, some 110 kilometers of west of the capital Dhaka, dpa quoted police officer Nizam Khan as saying.
Two others died in a local hospital after 25 survivors were taken to a nearby hospital, he added. Police launched an investigation into the crash.
