A Pakistani soldier was killed in shelling by Indian security forces across the de facto border in the disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir, the military said Friday.
According to dpa, a statement said troops manning the Pandu border post in Kashmir came under 'unprovoked shelling' by Indian forces overnight.
The soldier died in hospital after he was hit by a shell, the statement added.
