The Speaker of the National Assembly of Korea, Kang Chang Hee on Thursday said that his country has always given importance to its bilateral relations with Pakistan, said an official press release. The Korean speaker, who is leading a 19-member delegation to Pakistan, gave these remarks on his arrival in the capital city Islamabad. Pakistani Senator, Usman Saifullah Khan received the guests and said that Pakistan wants to further strengthen friendly ties with South Korea. Pakistan was further willing to expand financial and trade cooperation with Korea, he added. The delegation is likely to hold meetings with Pakistani President, Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif during the two-day visit. The delegation is also scheduled to meet Chairman Senate, Speaker National Assembly, Pakistan Business Community and Korean Businessmen in Pakistan to further enhance Pak-Korea bilateral cooperation in various fields.
