A fire broke out at a Texas natural-gas plant operated by Exxon Mobil and is being allowed to burn itself out. No injuries were reported. Exxon spokesman Dave Eglinton said the fire at the King Ranch unit at Kingsville, Texas continued burning Tuesday, and the gas facility remains closed following the incident. Eglinton said authorities are trying to determine what sparked the fire early Monday. The plant, in a rural area about 240 kilometers southeast of San Antonio, processes 500 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and associated liquids.
