Argentina's Vice President Marta Gabriela Michetti hailed Egypt as a strategic partner for her country's economy and development.
Address a session of the joint business forum, Michetti said Buenos Aires will work on promoting cooperation with Cairo.
The event, organized by the Federation of the Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, was attended by Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabeel.
Michetti reviewed in her speech several measures taken by her country to change the course of its economy.
She said that the Latin American country decided to achieve a key leap, vowing to set out transparency principles and to combat corruption.
Argentina's ambassador in Cairo attended the forum.
