Secretary of Russia's Security Council Nikolai Patrushev

Secretary of Russia's Security Council Nikolai Patrushev said Daesh terrorist group, banned in Russia, is the greatest threat to Russian national security.
Patrushev made the remarks on the sidelines of his participation in the Brics Group's meeting of the member states' national security high representatives, held in Beijing.
"The greatest threat to national security comes from a new generation of terrorists, uniting under the banners of ISIS," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
The successful steps taken by the government and international forces in Syria led to a change in the strategy of terrorists and forced them to look for 'spare areas' in various parts of the world, Patrushev added.
