The killer of a two-year-old girl, whom he threw to the ground in a row with her mother over a parking lot, was sentenced to death. On Wednesday, a Beijing court found Han Lei, 39, guilty of homicide for murdering the toddler who he grabbed from the pram during a quarrel over a parking space and hurled to the ground before the eyes of her shocked mother, Voice of Russia reported. The two-year-old was severely injured and died in a hospital several days later. The killer fled the scene but was caught the next day. The same court also gave a five-year sentence to a man who drove Han away from the scene of the crime.
