A cargo truck has overturned on a rural road, killing 15 people who were riding on top, AP cited Authorities in Haiti as saying.
Police Inspector Francius Simeon says another 14 people were injured in the accident Friday near the town of Morne a Cabrit, northeast of the capital.
The truck was headed to Port-au-Prince with a load of charcoal and avocados when the brakes apparently failed and the driver lost control. Simeon says 13 women and two men were killed, including the driver.
