At least nine people were killed Thursday evening ina northern California crash between a coach carrying high school students and big-rig truck, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.The accident occurred on Interstate 5 near the town of Orland about 250 kilometresnorth of San Francisco.According to the report the coach was carrying high school students from LosAngeles to visit colleges in northern California.The report said that the truck ploughed into the coach after crossing the centre lineof the four-lane highway which is the main north-south route on the western
seaboard.
