An amphibian plane L-42 has crashed in Podosinovets District of Kirov Region on Thursday night, a source at the Russian Ministry for Emergencies told Itar-Tass.
The source said, "An amphibian plane L-42 crashed at 22:30, Moscow time, on Thursday in Podosinovets District of Kirov Region, tentatively in the area of the inhabited locality of Pinyug".
Rescue units and emergency response services immediately went to the scene of the supposed crash site. A Mi-8 helicopter also took off to survey the area.
