At least nine people drowned after an overcrowded boat capsized in the Ganges River in the eastern Indian state of Bihar, police said Wednesday.The victims included two women and seven girls between the ages of 13 and 15, dpa quoted local police officer Sunil Mandal as saying.The boat was carrying 22 women and girls who were returning from work on farms in the neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh. The others were rescued in operations that began after the boat sunk in Buxar district late Tuesday.
