New Delhi - XINHUA
At least nine people were killed Monday when a speeding train rammed into an auto rickshaw at a crossing of rail track in the eastern Indian state of Bihar, said police.
The incident took place at Bihar's West Champaran district when the auto rickshaw tried to cross the track despite warning by the guard of the coming train.
Train accidents take place frequently at track crossings in India due to lack of security awareness of local people and loose security control.
