At least nine people were killed when two buses collided in central Nepal early Saturday, police said.
Thirty others were injured in the accident on the Basipur section of the East-West Highway in Hetauda, some 130 kilometers south of the capital, Kathmandu.
Eight people died immediately, and one died later in Hetauda Hospital, dpa reported.
