Eight children and one adult were killed Tuesday when a passenger train hit a rickshaw near Dadu, Pakistan, police said.
The rickshaw's driver was taking the children to school when he attempted to cross an unmanned railway crossing, Geo TV News reported.
The rickshaw got stuck on the tracks and the train crashed into it, police said.
Four children died at the scene, and the other five victims succumbed to their injuries at a hospital.
