At least seven people were killed Friday in two separate shooting incidents in Mexico's northwestern state of Tamaulipas, the state Attorney General's Office said. Armed assailants opened fire on a group of soldiers who were on routine patrol in Las Fuentes district in the city of Reynosa. The 30-minute gunfight left two gunmen and a soldier dead and at least three other soldiers wounded. In a separate incident, four people were killed in a shooting outside a shopping center in the town of Arguelles in the same state.
