Ukraine's military said on Friday it had lost six soldiers in the past 24 hours despite both Kiev and the pro-Russian rebels committing themselves to a new truce the previous day.
"In the past day, we lost six soldiers. Another 13 were wounded," Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko told reporters.
