An unidentified gunmen described by one witness as decked out "likeRambo" shot and wounded six people at a FedEx facility and then apparently killedhimself Tuesday in the US state of Georgia, police said.Authorities were alerted shortly before 6 am (1000 GMT) about the shooting in thecity of Kennesaw, 25 miles (40 kilometers) northwest of Atlanta, according to theCobb County Police Department.At least six people were hospitalized with three in critical condition, The AtlantaJournal-Constitution newspaper reported.Two of the victims have life-threatening injuries and one is on a ventilator. Four willneed hospitalization, the paper said, citing Michael Nitzken, a doctor with WellStarKennestone Hospital where the patients are being treated.He said it was likely that the critical patients were shot at "close range."According to police, "the suspect in this case is deceased from an apparent selfinflicted gunshot wound.""The officers are still 'sweeping' the area to confirm that there are no additionalthreats to anybody or officers," it said in a statement.Witness Liza Aiken, a FedEx employee, said the assailant was a loader at the facilityand looked like "Rambo.""He had an assault rifle. He had bullets strapped to his chest like Rambo. I mean helooked like he was heading into war," she told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She was also quoted by the newspaper as saying she was first alerted to the suspectwhen she heard a "clink" and saw a dropped knife on the floor in front of him.FedEx said it was aware of the situation."Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of our team members, firstresponders and others affected. FedEx is cooperating with authorities," it said in astatement.
