Five people are missing following a landslide that occurred Wednesday morning in southwest China's Yunnan Province, local authorities said. The landslide occurred in the village of Xinzhai in the city of Xuanwei at 5 a.m., trapping eight people, the municipal government said. Rescuers have pulled three people out of the debris thus far. Rescue efforts for the five missing are under way.
